Cats are lovely as it is, but there is no end to human fantasy. And the story of Kitty Kouture, Inc. evolved. My son wanted a pet, more specifically a dog. Because we were limited in living space, my mother in law suggested a kitty: not a lot of space required, easy to care for, and adorable pets. Need I say more: Coco Chanel is everything we could ever want. She has become part of our family: we truly love, spoil and pamper her! I wanted something to reflect her flamboyant, yet diva personality: one thought came to mind: CLOTHES!


Although these fabulous felines love to roam around with perfect agility and grace, you can still entice your kitty to wear a glamorous tank top, dress or cami on special occasions, such as his or her birthday or even a celebration. Just like our costume parties, a cats' dress is only limited in colors, styles, designs and patterns to the imagination. You can dress up your cat as a princess, as a sports fan with his or her favorite sports hoodie, or for the more adventurous kitty, as a rocker kitty with his or her skull & bones hoodie.


As I searched, I discovered that clothes for kittens were almost non-existent. I was quite disappointed and felt it was unfair for kittens and cats not to have the option of being dressed and adorned. I pondered on how I would dress my kitty if given a choice: one word came to mind: GLAMOROUS! And Kitty Kouture, Inc.’s first fashion line, Ghetto Glam is now in its final stages! This line features an urban yet glamorous set of apparel and accessories for kittens and cats.
